What if I told you that the portraits we make isn’t the end game of what we deliver our clients? They are right smack in the middle of the whole process… a souvenir of an experience our families cherish for the celebration of an important life season and time well spent together.

There is a lot that goes into making a successful portrait session. I take on the homework for my families so that that they can sit back and enjoy the journey.

In Person Fashion and Planning Consult

Once we set your shoot date, I invite your in for an in-person fashion and planning consult.

Don’t know what to wear or how to prep? We have client guides to spark ideas, and we communicate online and on the phone to help you narrow things down… then we figure out the details together in person. My Seniors come to their consult with bags full of choices, and I’ll have you try on pieces as we come up with a good variety of outfits. I take a picture of each of the choices, then use your likes to come up decide the locations that best showcase your looks. By your shoot day, you will know the order of your outfits and the locations we will hit.

We touch on hair and make up plan, but we have trusted hair and makeup artists on our team who know just how to make you camera ready and primp and pamper you. I will send her each outfit photo so that she can be prepared to collaborate. I HIGHLY recommend hiring a professional even if you are good at doing your own hair and makeup. It’s just nice to be taken care of… and when the artist comes on site with us, it elevates the experience.

In Person Reveal and Ordering Consult

Your Reveal and Ordering Night gives us the chance to relive Picture Day and lets me serve you by taking on the task of designing and ordering the art so you don’t have to do it yourself. Those digital images are important, and you get them all, but parents, you’ve already invested a lot of time, energy and money into making this and unforgettable experience for your senior… I wouldn’t dare let you leave these memories get lost on a computer or stuck on a usb in a drawer. Technology changes and fails. I want to help you protect these memories and your investment with heirloom quality keepsakes.

After we have a delicious personalized dessert and you see your session slideshow on a big TV, I take on the work of listening to your wants and needs, and I’ll answer your questions as we think through your wish list and design products you will love. Once you’ve approved the designs, I order and deal with the print labs. We’ve researched who we partner with to bring you only the best quality products, and we package them up so when we deliver your portraits, you get to sit back and enjoy like a kid on Christmas Day.
