The great thing is that regardless of the settings or occasions, what I love most about my job never changes: when my subjects see their images, they feel FAMOUS, BIGGER than LIFE… and doesn’t everyone deserve to feel that once in a while?
🌧️ The spring of 2025 has been one of the rainiest in recent memory—and true to form, our final LPJ Rep Team 2025 group shoot arrived under overcast skies and ended a little early as the clouds and drops of rain rolled in. But if you think a little gray weather could dim this group’s light… think again. These seniors brought nothing but joy and warmth to the day, and to my entire year.
I’m based in Roanoke Rapids, NC, but I regularly shoot in Raleigh and the Triangle area, and I’m lucky to have seniors travel to me from there and from Southside Virginia too. Whether we’re on location or here in my hometown, I love making each session feel like something unforgettable.
My seniors make that easy. I have the absolute privilege of working with amazing young people every year. Not all of the seniors I photograph are part of my Rep Team—but those who are become the face of my brand for their entire senior year.
Team 2025, you’ve been nothing short of incredible.
Each year, a handful of high school seniors are chosen to be a part of my LPJ Senior Rep Team, and they get an experience that goes far beyond traditional senior portraits. Each rep receives an extended 3.5-hour deluxe senior solo session plus at least 4 styled group photo shoots throughout the year. That means more time in front of the camera, more chances to make memories, and a beautiful way to capture the spirit of senior year.
It’s more than just senior pictures—it’s an experience.
For Team 2025, our group sessions included:
👉 In My Senior Era – A Back to School Shoot
👉 Project Beauty – Confidence Without Makeup or Edits
👉 Boho White Dress Shoot – Shot on Location in Raleigh
👉 And our grand finale: Caps, Gowns & Beyond
Even with weather looming, the vibe was pure celebration. We began the shoot in classic graduation cap and gown portraits—timeless, proud, and full of emotion. Then the gowns came off to reveal t-shirts that told the story of what comes next: college, careers, and dreams taking shape. From ECU to UNC Chapel Hill, from Liberty University to the workforce—every path matters, and every future deserves to be celebrated.
We had a couple of team members who couldn’t make it—one had her athletic banquet and another had a last-minute conflict—and we sure missed them! But that’s part of senior year, too: balancing a full calendar and soaking in every moment possible.
Let’s be real: senior year is stressful. Between college applications, sports, clubs, and everything in between, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s why this team means so much to me. It’s not just about getting pretty pictures (though there’s plenty of that!)—it’s about creating space for fun, friendship, and feeling celebrated just for being you.
I want every senior I photograph to look back and realize that the experience of creating these images is part of what makes senior year so special. Whether I’ve known you since kindergarten or we met for the first time at your consultation, you matter to me. You bring something unique to your shoot, and I’m honored to be the one capturing it.
I’m now holding consultations for Team 2026, and I already can’t wait to see who this next group will be! If you’re a rising senior (or a parent of one!) and you’re looking for a senior photo experience that’s meaningful, fun, and totally YOU—this is it.
Let’s make senior year unforgettable.
