The great thing is that regardless of the settings or occasions, what I love most about my job never changes: when my subjects see their images, they feel FAMOUS, BIGGER than LIFE… and doesn’t everyone deserve to feel that once in a while?

Time is a thief and children grow up fast, so a photoshoot is a great way to celebrate milestone birthdays, just like Kamryn and her mom Lane did when Kamryn turned 13!

Turning 13 should ALWAYS be celebrated!

Kamryn was my trusty sidekick through two big brothers and their Senior Pictures. She helped me with my equipment and was there to make them laugh. But for her 13th birthday, it was HER turn. Even if Senior Year is was a little ways away, that 13th birthday was just around the corner… and that was worth celebrating!

Maybe for her Sweet 16th we will go more all out on a themed shoot, and that time will come faster than we expect, but this was more about celebrating exactly who she was at 13.

Warm, sunny weather + an hour well spent photographing a sweet, beautiful girl is my happy place. I’m so grateful for returning clients like Lane O wens Driver who let me be a part of such a special occasions.
