Seniors have lots of choices when they’re looking for their Senior Photographer, and the Seniors who land on LPJ Photography are not just looking to mark “Senior Pictures” off their Senior Year To-Do list.  They are looking for more from their experience than a disk full of beautiful images.  

Quality Time vs Quantity Time

The main message I want to get out to my future clients is this: 

It’s important for you to know that I am NOT a “high volume photographer,” and that I DO specialize in photographing teens.

That means I only accept a small number of clients each year so that I can give a great deal of attention to each one of my seniors. I don’t shoot maternity, newborns or weddings, and I limit my family sessions to the families of my teens. That way, I can fully invest my time into serving YOU. I feel strongly that YOU are where I should be pouring my energy, so my education, and my time, is dedicated to YOU.

Finding Your Vision

Some Seniors, like Karley, come in with a vision of what they want their session to be.  She had props she wanted to use in mind, and she came to her fashion consult with her basic outfits in place.  It was my job to help her find the props she wished for, put the finishing touches on the outfits she brought in, and to give direction as to what locations would best with each look.

Other seniors come in with no real clue what they want their session to look like, and that is ok too!  We are here to guide you!  So we will meet, we will text, we will build pinterest boards, we will brainstorm… I like to get to know you, so that when you see your portraits you will be seeing the best version of YOU!

My sessions are fun and relaxed, even if I am coaching the entire time… and all along the way I shower you with little gifts and lots of attention and information.
