Team 2025 decided on a boho chic field theme for their third group shoot. Despite challenges like weather and logistics, the late afternoon was filled with and laughter and camaraderie, capturing the magic of friendship in breathtaking photos that I hope the girls love as much as I do.

The Project Beauty Challenge, now in its 7th year, encourages our 2025 Senior Rep Team to embrace their natural selves by being photographed without makeup or edits. This initiative promotes the idea of true beauty beyond societal pressures and superficial ideals.

Capturing a high school senior’s full story often requires more than one photo session. Activities like duck hunting, fishing, and baseball are essential parts of their identity and need personalized sessions to capture the emotions and settings. Multiple sessions allow for a deeper, more complete portrayal of who they are.

Recently in Chapel Hill, I experienced the poignant merging of my college days with the present, capturing senior portraits for Olivia, my former roommate’s daughter, as she prepares to attend our alma mater, Carolina. Joined by my daughter Cailyn, the sentimental reunion and photoshoot amidst Carolina’s treasured landmarks underscored the enduring bonds we share as Tar Heels.
