Society’s beauty standards, driven by media and advertising, often feed our insecurities. The Project Beauty Challenge, now in its 7th year, encourages our 2025 Senior Rep Team to embrace their natural selves by being photographed without makeup or edits. This initiative promotes the idea of true beauty beyond societal pressures and superficial ideals.
Time is a thief. A birthday photoshoot is a great way to celebrate and documents any special milestone. Kamryn celebrated her 13th birthday with LPJ Photography, but we are game for photos at any age… 13, 16, 21, and beyond!
LPJ Senior Rep Team 2024’s second group shoot was a Galentines Day celebration of family and friendships, filled with food, fellowship, and gifts, all set to a “Pretty in Pink” theme.
This blog is the third in a series defining what “full service photography” means at LPJ Photography, and features LPJ Team 2024’s Claudia. The experience emphasizes quality time between seniors and their families, involving everyone in the planning, shooting, designing… which ultimately makes the fine art portraits souvenirs of time well spent.
Lymarie offers a deluxe senior photography session that extends beyond mere portraits. This service includes a full experience of fashion consultation, professional hair and makeup, and a stress-free picture day where seniors are coached and celebrated. Following the shoot, clients enjoy a personalized reveal session to order heirloom keepsakes, ensuring memories are treasured beyond digital files.
Every day, we’re bombarded by unrealistic portrayals of beauty and success that skew our perception and self-worth. The LPJ Photography Team’s “Project Beauty” counters this by celebrating true beauty with makeup-free, unretouched black and white photos and personal reflections. This project emphasizes the importance of focusing on personal progress, self-acceptance, and the intangible richness of life’s imperfections.
Wayne, a senior from RRHS, shows out under dramatic skies in his Media Day shoot. As a former coach, the photographer creates action sports portraits that capture the essence of athletes’ hard work and glory, offering dynamic imagery through specialized lighting and subtle yet significant edits. These sessions showcase athletes in their element, celebrating their larger-than-life personas.
