The great thing is that regardless of the settings or occasions, what I love most about my job never changes: when my subjects see their images, they feel FAMOUS, BIGGER than LIFE… and doesn’t everyone deserve to feel that once in a while?

If you had asked me years ago if I’d ever photograph bridal portraits, I probably would’ve smiled politely and said, “I don’t do weddings.”
And for the most part, that’s still true.
I am, at heart, a portrait photographer—someone who thrives in connection, conversation, and watching confidence bloom right in front of my camera. My work is not JUST about delivering beautiful, high-quality images (though yes, that part matters deeply). It’s about creating an experience—a session that feels like an event, a memory you carry with you long after the photos are printed and framed.
Somewhere along the way, I realized something surprising:
✨ Bridal portraits and maternity portraits are absolutely my jam. ✨

I got my start photographing kids’ sports on the sidelines of my own children’s games. From there, my work naturally evolved into high school senior portraits, college seniors, and sports portraits—young people standing on the edge of what’s next.
But now?
Some of those same seniors are getting married. They’re having babies. They’re building lives.
And I get to keep showing up with my camera.
One of those people is Blair.

There are certain clients—friends—who are woven into the fabric of your life. Blair and her family are that for me.
Her mom, Peggy, was one of my very first paying clients, believing in me and my work before I had truly earned it. I photographed Blair’s sister’s college portraits when I was still figuring things out. I photographed Blair for her Sweet 16. She was on my High School Senior Rep Team in 2019. Four years later, I traveled to Chapel Hill to photograph her college portraits at our favorite place—two Tar Heels, born, bred, dead.
So when they reached out and said there was no one else they could imagine photographing Blair’s bridal portraits, I didn’t hesitate.
I also didn’t sleep much.

I wasn’t nervous because I doubted my skills.
I know that I can pose beautifully. I know how to guide, to encourage, to make a woman feel confident and radiant and fully herself. I know how to work with light and how to deliver luxury portrait photography at a high level.
I was nervous because this was important.
This needed to be perfect.
And somehow… it was.

We spent a long, beautiful afternoon together at her stunning venue, The Victorian in Youngsville . It was one of those sessions that feels transformative—the kind where laughter turns into tears, and you pause to marvel at the goodness of God right in front of you.
Blair’s mom, my dear friend, had recently battled cancer. Her wish was to attend Blair’s wedding with her own hair. And she did—now in remission, standing there radiant and strong.
As I photographed Blair, I saw flashes of her at four… twelve… eighteen.
My friend’s daughter.
My daughter’s friend.
And now—my friend, too.
That kind of history is rare. I know I won’t have it with every bride.
But here’s the thing…
My goal with bridal portrait photography—and with maternity portraits, senior portraits, and every session I offer—is to make each woman feel seen, celebrated, and deeply valued.
Because she is.
I provide a luxury photography experience where:
Whether we’ve known each other for decades or just met, I want you to walk away thinking:
“That was one of the most special days.”

If you’re a bride who wants more than “just photos”…
If you’re expecting and want to be celebrated in this season…
If you value connection, intention, and artistry…
I’d love to create something unforgettable with you.
