There is something about music that touches the heart, sings to the soul.  I have found that the session slideshows I design for each of my photography clients tells the story of their day in a way that has brought either mom or dad to happy tears at every reveal night I have held.

At the risk of sounding sadistic, that makes me happy.  I love that my art can evoke strong emotions in people.  It is my sincere hope that my images will be snapshots in time that my families will treasure.  It is my goal to capture my clients’ stories, so that they can relive a happy day from their past, and can tell it to future generations.

The slide shows give them a fresh way to enjoy their images, and share them with family and friends.

Each of the images I take during the session slides in and out as the music I select tells the tale of the session.  The audible gasps and cries of, “ohhh, I LOVE that one,” makes all the work worthwhile to me, and it creates a unique experience for my customers.

Life is tough sometimes.  Life can be hard, and hurtful.  Teenagers are old enough to have experienced those ugly life seasons.  So I am thankful when my clients’ parents tell me that they are grateful for the way their children felt empowered, confident, free, during our session.

And I am grateful that at any time they all can slip their video into their DVD player, or their computer, and escape for a little while back to a happy, uncomplicated place.
